ACTION PLAN Laptop Management I realize that we are all having similar problems with laptop management. I plan to have a meeting/discussion with my teachers to determine if there is anything we can do differently or better. Coaches Schedules/Responsibilities I plan to have a discussion with the Principal to change my schedule to be able to have more sit-down time with the teachers to plan better. Providing PD for Your Staff / ProTraxx PD is being provided more or less on an individual basis according to teacher’s needs. The goal is to complete Renzulli training before Dec. 12th. Student Support Teams The Mouse Squad is still operating. There hasn’t been time to train new recruits or any time allocated to meet as a group. The budget this year does not allow for enrichment after school and not enough students are able to come in at 7:00 am. I will have to think of a way to begin meetings again. Families: Informing about 21st Century Schools and Cyber Safety I plan on holding a cyber safety workshop for parents in collaboration with the parent coordinator. Evaluating Classroom Instruction I push in with every middle school class at least once a week to observe and assist. I need more time to share what I observe with the teachers. Planning for Technology-Infused Instruction Training teachers on the Renzulli Learning System Providing one-to-one PD as needed to individual teachers. School Transformation Toolkit Some parts are very relevant but more time is needed to extract what I can use effectively. Sharing Documents Great idea – no need to re-invent the wheel. Most of these are usable and can be adapted for use in my school. Final Reflections This workshop has given me a lot of ideas for activities that I can implement in my school.
